La Vaux-Marie 1914 came about by a stroke of luck, on the day of an exchange between a history buff and designer of video and audio guides accessible by qr-code and a mayor attached to the history of his commune during a Flame of Remembrance ceremony in Revigny-sur-Ornain, the last home of André Maginot.

I’m Clément MENUSIER, founder of INNOV’Stories and creator of the ‘La Vaux-Marie 1914’ interpretation site. In this making-of, I invite you to join me as I take you back to the origins of this project, and then to discover it step by step. I started writing the story on my own before being joined by dozens of people.

This digital and museographic project took 9 years to complete. Thousands of hours have been devoted to it, because it has special features that can’t be found anywhere else. Vaux-Marie 1914 has also been a source of exceptional encounters. Friendships have been forged in France and abroad.
